My name is William LeBlanc and I have been a full time photographer for over 6 years. I had started teaching myself the art of photography over 15 years ago when I was a tractor-trailer driver for a large steel company. While taking my first on-line photography course in 2005, when in the middle of the eight week course I switched from film to digital and I haven't looked back. Moving into the digital age greatly added to my move into fashion photography.
In 2006 I got my first studio in the warehouse of my employer. It was a third floor, 550 sq ft space that hadn't been used in 25 years. It needed some work but offered a lot of natural light and a place for me to focus on learning everything I could about working in a studio. This also allowed me to start building up my studio equipment. Over the next few years I took the time to work with other professionals such as hair and make-up artists, stylists and models to help build my portfolio and experience. It wasn't long before I was becoming known as one of the go to photographers for fashion in the Capital region of NY.
I've taken my experience and knowledge of fashion photography and moved that style over to my weddings and High School Senior sessions. My clients are really enjoying the look and feel I'm giving them in their images.
